MEET MRS. HANDWORK
Colorful Chalks

Hi! My name is Mrs. Handwork and I am so happy that I am teaching second grade this school year. This is my 6th year teaching at St. Paul Catholic School but my 30th year teaching. I love my job just as much as the first day I started!

I received my teaching certificate from Michigan State University and my master's degree in Reading from Wayne State University. I love learning new things and consider myself a life long learner.

I grew up in Grosse Pointe and have lived here most of my life. I attended St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School and then Grosse Pointe South High School. Other than spending 4 years in East Lansing at Michigan State University and 3 years in Colorado teaching, I have been a Grosse Pointer. I currently live in GP Farms with my husband (Pete), 3 children, (Caden is a Senior at MSU, Phoebe is a Sophmore at MSU and Whitney is a Junior at GPS!) and 2 dogs (Hazel and Bentley).

This is going to be a wonderful school year and I am looking forward to going on a learning adventure together. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever need anything!
